Enjoy my travel photo albums with impressions from my past year of travel: the journey from Munich to China by train, four months of yoga and pilgrimage in holy India, backpacking through South East Asia with friends and family, and finally the three months in Ubud, Bali where I trained to become a raw chef.
In May 2011 I left Munich, my home of 25 years, and made my way with a friend by train from Germany to Beijing, via Scandinavia, Moscow, Siberia and Mongolia on the Trans-Siberian railway.
The other side of the world, I used to think. I discovered delicious food, friendly and photo-loving people, a fascinating history and young and active environmentalists.
Two weeks in Chiang Mai and Bangkok before making my way to India.
Four months of yoga, pilgrimages and sightseeing. Magic!
Backpacking through Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos with a good friend from home and later with my courageous brother. So many beautiful places!
The Bali Spirit Yoga and Music Festival and a month-long Raw Chef Training brought me to Ubud. I found an active volcano, the world's best chocolate, many new friends and a new tattoo!
